About as Likely as Not is an exhibition of new sculpture and print work by Allison Rowe. Rowe’s work addresses the future of energy production by drawing on scientific data and mining industry research. The works included in About as Likely as Not present a series of visual interpretations based on these data that take the form of abstracted mines and minimal landscapes.

ALLISON ROWE is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Toronto.  Her work investigates the process of re-personalizing political discourses and the possibilities that exist in this transition space. Rowe’s has recently exhibited at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto, the Ghetto Biennale in Port-au-Prince and in public spaces across North America.  She completed her MFA in Social Practice at California College of the Arts in 2011 and her Honors BFA in Photography from Ryerson University in 2006.

LEASE AGREEMENT is a collaborative curatorial project by artists Adam Farcus and Allison Yasukawa. Set in the living room of the couple’s rental house, Lease Agreement continues in the tradition of apartment gallery exhibition spaces by exhibiting conceptually rigorous, engaging work within the context of a home.
