ALL ABOUT YOU FOREVER furthers the artist’s investigation into the physical experience of film and image-based media. The installation turns on the fragile process of viewer identification and emotional involvement with images onscreen. The world of the screen is extended to the physical realm of the viewer through an incorporation of fragmented video projection and interactive video that responds to the viewer’s physicality.

JESSYE MCDOWELL is a video and new media artist who recently received her MFA from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. She grew up in Kentucky and received a degree in Media Studies from the New School University in NYC. Her work is interested in virtual experience, particularly in relation to film and advertising, and it’s ability to conjure wonder in the most banal ways.
