CTRL is an experiment in webcam culture, S&M and art making. Participants offer submission. Sirianni offers direction. Together they negotiate the limits of their virtual interactions, as shown in this new collection of photographs and videos. Erotics and aesthetics compete in hard-on clad collaborations.

MICHAEL SIRIANNI earned an MFA in Studio Arts from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 2010 and a BS in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College in 2005. He has exhibited at the CUE Art Foundation (New York), Iceberg Projects (Chicago), Los Caminos (St. Louis), the Antimatter Film Festival (Vancouver), Fleisher/Ollman Gallery (Philadelphia) and the Hyde Park Arts Center (Chicago). Named by Time Out Chicago as one of “Chicago’s Next Art Stars,” Sirianni is a 2010 recipient of a Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant.
