: Directory Directory is a site-specific work situated in the fractured "no place" of 900 North Michigan—a marketplace whose objects contained within it are touched by people from around the world, coming to Chicago waiting to be moved again. Using fragments of video taken from people reciting segments of speech, each site outlined in the directory of 900 North Michigan is broken into its verbal parts and put back together as a collection of geographies. Outlining the cultural assemblage of our surroundings, Directory brings the global nature of our current era to the surface through voice and video.

: Untitled (2013) A synthesized click is fed into 25 small glasses, activating the resonant frequencies of each glass generating an acoustic chirp. The 25 speakers and glasses are spread out fairly evenly in a space, and are organized in time and in space by use of a self generating algorithm. Each speaker and glass are activated in a spatial sequence which never changes, yet act independently in terms of pitch, duration, loudness, and how quickly it 'chirps' once it's predecessor is done. The overall structure varies from being very sparse to being incredibly dense, where the sound of each glass gets lost in the over all cacophony.
