: Not Necessarily no.3(2013) In this project,I used all the holes and gaps of the gallery. A line which is hand sewed spandex fabric and coated with latex goes through all the holes and gaps of the space and pulls the walls(covered with black spandex fabric) and wraps around outside of the building and comes back into the gallery space. The viewers cannot see the start or the end of the line.

: Blowfish-like(2013) This inflatable device borrowed the action from blowfish. Blowfishes inflate when they feel threatened by opponents or predators.The device is designed to show fear towards nature, but not harmful in anyways;It is more like psychologically self-defensive(self-preserving). This inflatable device creates some instance distance, in order to allow the person to have a personal space to feel safe while he/she is exploring new circumstances. Collaborated with John Lui

: Not Necessarily(2013) Because each weight is comprised of different materials, some of them look heavy while others look light. However, they all weigh a similar amount. As the water absorbed in the sponge slowly evaporates, the whole sculpture slowly moves.

: Not Necessarily no.1(2013) The viewer will first encounter the large flower-like conical object. After the viewer turns around the corner, they will realize there are two different ‘creatures’ that are competing to reach the top of a ladder. The first creature that is pulling the conical object is wrapping around the column at the corner and trying to reach the top of the ladder from one side. The second yellow creature is carrying a spongy weight with one hand and trying to reach at the top as well. Although the cubed spongy weight looks very light, it gives a lot of tension onto the ‘arm’ of the yellow creature. This is because the weight is actually concrete covered in foam. There is a stamen looking weapon inside of the flower-like conical object that aims at sculptures of other artists in the hallway.

: We Are Just On Different Processes 2(2012) When people are asked to choose between something that is "light" and something that is "heavy", most people will answer that they prefer something that is not too heavy or too light. However, it would be difficult for most people to choose when asked which one is the positive word: "light" or "heavy." Many words and their antonyms often have a positive or negative meaning to them, but does not seem to be the case for the words "light" and "heavy." When we say, "That person is both light and heavy," we can easily tell what the person is like without getting confused. When we go through life, both "lightness" and "heaviness" are necessary. In my life I often thought about the balance of the two words and become miserable with the fact that I couldn’t find a matching point for the two words.
