Applications for the ACRE Summer 2025 Residency Program open on October 7th. For over a decade, we've nurtured a supportive community for emerging artists at the beautiful Mother Earth Green Center and Steuben Lodge in Wisconsin. Our 14-day residencies host 20-25 artists for each of our three summer sessions. We serve emerging visual artists, sound artists, musicians, performers, writers, community makers, curators, and administrators, fostering their growth within a cooperative setting.
Facilities include communal workspaces, a screen-printing studio, woodshop, ceramics studio, fibers studio, small foundry, and art & tech facility. Shared accommodations offer bathrooms, kitchenettes, and decks. Join us for another incredible summer and expand your practice in a one-of-a-kind setting.

📆 Application Timeline Adjustment ⏰
In our ongoing effort to create a more equitable and accessible application process, we are pleased to continue a significant change in our timeline for the Summer 2025 residency:
➡️ Fall 2024 Application Cycle: The application period for the Summer 2025 Residency Program will open in Fall 2024. This adjustment allows admitted residents ample time for thoughtful decision-making, flexible tuition payment arrangements, and the ability to plan, orient and build community in advance of the residency.
➡️ Admission Notifications in February 2025: Artists selected for our Summer Residency Program, scheduled for June to August 2025, will be announced in February 2025.
